Scenario 1
Pastor Jack from Valley Christian
Fellowship, an independent local church, is
looking for other churches to partner with in
local and global missions projects. His
church seems so isolated and disconnected. If
he could just find other like-minded churches
that share his broader horizon and larger
vision he's sure that he and his church would
be blessed as they joined hands with others to
bring in God's global harvest!

Scenario 2
Jennifer grew up in a Christian home and
through the influence of parents, missionary
speakers and more recently a student
missions conference feels strongly called to go
into God's global harvest. Encouraged by the
pastor and congregation of her small north
valley church she has completed candidate
training with a great missions agency.
Unfortunately her church has only a small
budget and now, after two years of support
raising she still only has half of what she
needs to go. She is considering abandoning
the call under emotional and financial stress.

Scenario 3
John, the missions chairman at Faith
Assembly in Durham has been looking for
some kindred-spirits who are passionate
about missions and can hook him up with
some good missions speakers, training
resources, and local conferences to keep him
in the loop about what God is doing locally
and globally. Unfortunately he hasn't found
such a fellowship and recently, feeling
discouraged and burned-out, resigned as the
missions chairman.

Scenario 4
Pastor Fred from Grace Church in Chester
has been casting a missions vision in his
congregation for years but God has not
raised up any missionaries from his own
fellowship. He wants to encourage his
congregation to serve as senders but isn't
aware of any “goers” who are from this area
whom his church could support. The
missionaries they currently support are from
southern
California, Seattle
and Denver.
During home
assignment they
rarely see their
missionaries and
then only for brief visits.
